Exclusions List
The Exclusions List specifies which Achievement Standards assess the same or similar learning. These Standards are excluded against one another to prevent assessing the same learning twice. You can only use credits gained from one of these standards towards your NCEA qualification.
The Exclusions List covers Achievement Standards revised through the NCEA Change Programme. In most cases, these are excluded against previous Standards from the same subject. For an exhaustive list of excluded Achievement and Unit Standards, check the NZQA website. NZQA's list includes Standards at all levels, as well as already expired Standards.
NCEA literacy and numeracy exclusions
The following table lists the standards excluded from the new literacy and numeracy standards.
