Evidence is the facts, examples, or sources used to support and develop an explanation. In the Social Sciences, it may be a quotation from a text, published information from academic critics, or a theory.
Findings within sources that are used to support, validate, strengthen, and expand a historical argument. As with sources, evidence can take many forms and may be present in different kinds of media and formats.
