Explanatory note 1 added to outline links between the Achievement Standard, The New Zealand Curriculum, and the Big Ideas at Level 7 of the Learning Matrix for Te Ao Haka at Curriculum Levels 6, 7 and 8.

Achievement criteria modified to clarify that ākonga only need to relate their chosen elements to ONE of either original text, original music, or original choreography. 

Hyperlink added to clearly indicate the location of the Subject Glossary definition for 'elements' which includes a more extensive list of examples.

Definition modified for 'item' to indicate items need to include key features of Te Ao Haka.

Explanatory note 5 modified to clarify that individual ākonga need to be shown for approximately 30 to 60 seconds performing their own original composition when taking part in group performances.  

Conditions updated for 91980: 

• further emphasis placed on the ability for ākonga to present evidence through formats other than physical demonstration
• 'format as agreed between student and teacher as reliable and assessable' and 'a combination of formats as appropriate' added to range of possible assessment formats.
