All Achievement Standards and supporting materials, including those affected by the review and maintenance programme of the New Zealand Curriculum NCEA subjects, are now published for use in 2026.
- Level 1 – Ministry of Education materials are available through each subject’s landing page on ncea.education.govt.nz. A summary of the updates for each subject is recorded in the “Recent Changes” link at the top of each page for the subject. You can navigate to a list of subject pages through the New Zealand Curriculum or Te Marautanga o Aotearoa menu buttons at the top of your screen.
- For Te Ao Haka, Levels 1, 2, and 3 resources can be found on the ncea.education.govt.nz site.
- Levels 2 and 3 – Ministry of Education NZC materials are available on NCEA on TKI, organised by subject.
- Level 2 and 3 – Ministry TMoA existing materials and resources are now available for kaiako on the NCEA website and can be found using the Te Marautanga o Aotearoa menu button. These include: Te Reo Rangatira, Ngā Mahi a te Rēhia, Toi Ataata, Toi Puoro, Tikanga ā-Iwi, Hangarau, Hauora, Pāngarau, and Pūtaiao.

- For Languages subjects, lists of the vocabulary that is assessable in the 2026 external examinations are available on the ncea.education.govt.nz landing page for each language subject, as well as the relevant NZQA subjects and resources webpages.
