Overview

Changes are happening to the New Zealand Curriculum and this may lead to questions about the implications for the NCEA Co-requisite. The resources in this section will support schools and kura with their understanding of literacy and numeracy in the new curriculum and what that means for the Co-requisite.

Alignment Guides

They are designed to show teachers and school leaders that the skills they are beginning to teach from Phase 4 of the English Learning Area and Mathematics and Statistics Learning Ares of the New Zealand Curriculum are the Literacy and Numeracy skills required to achieve the NCEA Co-requisite.
